Speech Language Pathologist

Position – Speech and Language Pathologist (OT / PT / ST)

Location – Smyrna, Tennessee 37167

Contract – 6 Months with a possibility of extension

Pay Rate – $45 per hour on W2

Schedule Note - This position is Mon. – Friday. This would be two days of 7.5 hours and one day of 5 hours. This will be flexible and must meet the needs of our students’ schedule, and be flexible to cover another therapist if needed.

Description :

SLP – Needed long-term, beginning immediately.

The SLP will have the following job duties :

• Work within an interdisciplinary team (OT / PT / ST) with students enrolled in various vocational areas of study (AOS) to provide support such as :
• Classroom strategies for processing information, social skills, and attention to task.
• Time management.
• Recommendations for accommodations related to communication / speech / social interaction / following multi-step commands.
• Hands-on support in collaboration with the AOS instructor in the AOS hands-on training area.
• Support for student internship sites.
• Other SLP-related evaluations and assessments.
