Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Operator – 2nd Shift

Location : Batavia, OH

Pay : Starting at $17.50 / hr and up, based on experience

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 4 : 30 PM – 3 : 15 AM ( Off Every Friday! )

Position Summary :

QuickPro Staffing is now hiring an AOI Operator for a reputable electronics manufacturer. This position involves operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment used in electronic circuit board assembly. The operator will inspect materials and assemblies to ensure they meet established quality and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic technical aptitude, and experience in a manufacturing or electronic assembly setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform startup and shutdown procedures for AOI equipment

Learn and understand machine operation, process concepts, and AOI programming

Inspect electronic components for correct values, polarity, and orientation (SMT and thru-hole)

Utilize inspection and gauging equipment to meet IPC and customer standards

Reference assembly drawings and bills of materials for inspection requirements

Inspect to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards and customer specifications

Maintain accuracy, neatness, and consistency in work

Communicate quality concerns to team leaders and suggest improvements

Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED required

Experience : Previous manufacturing experience required; electronic assembly experience preferred

Skills :

Strong computer and data entry skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation

Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching required

Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment
