THE WORK

• Unloading & Inventory : Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation.
• Equipment Installation : Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure.
• Cabling & Connections : Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers. Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified (e.g., 5A1, 2A3, 3A1, etc.).
• Mechanical & Electrical Work : Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, highbay ducting, and GPS antennas. Handle electrical tasks including UPS power-up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout / tagout.
• System Configuration : Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification. Install and configure network components and perform system checks.
• Documentation & Reporting : Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues.
• Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a range of tasks related to the installation, setup, and maintenance of complex systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
