Overview
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Functional Analyst to join our SAP HCM Payroll team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience implementing, supporting, and continuously improving SAP HCM solutions, especially in relation to North American payroll.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and compliance reporting.
- Contribute to strategic SAP HCM Payroll initiatives that align with labor and tax regulations in the US and Canada, ensuring operational excellence and legal compliance.
- Serve as a vital link between HR, IT, and Finance to provide scalable and business-friendly payroll solutions.
- Engage in technical testing and support following implementations.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in configuration, PEPSICO standards, and comprehensive documentation.
Compensation and Benefits :
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $76,400 - $127,850.Actual starting salary will depend on location, job-related skills, experience, and education. Thorough knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll, with a deep understanding of US Payroll regulations, Infotypes, Wage Type, and Taxation.Familiarity with retroactive accounting and off-cycle payroll processes.Ability to read and modify Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) and Schemas.Comprehension of time data integration with payroll and experience with time evaluation results.Experience with SAP HCM data uploads using LSMW or BDC.Knowledge of BSI TaxFactory and preparation of year-end tax forms (W-2, W-4).Excellent communication and documentation skills; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.Our company is committed to considering qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable laws, including the Fair Chance Ordinance and the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
