[job_card.job_description]Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required . 5+ years of progressive accountancy experience required . Expertise in balance sheet and income statement reconciliations (accruals, depreciation, etc.), inventory accounting , and preparing / filing sales tax / 1099 forms. Strong understanding of internal controls and business operations. Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software. Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. CPA or Equivalent Certification Preferred .
Accounting Manager
A local business seeks an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has comprehensive experience with core accounting functions (AP, AR, Payroll, Reconciliations, Budgeting, and Forecasting).
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all core accounting functions , including General Ledger, AP, AR, Payroll, and Commissions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements , cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage the Chart of Accounts, post journal entries, and perform account and bank reconciliations .
- Maintain and reconcile Inventory Records and related payables.
- Coordinate with external accountants for audits, tax filings, and year-end procedures .
- Develop and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls .
- Manage daily cash activity (deposits, wire transfers, credit cards) and supervise / mentor accounting staff .
Accounting Manager Requirements
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 Per Year
