Sales Estimator

InfraHire is looking for a skilled and motivated Sales Estimator in Independence OH .

Job Description :

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in estimating and selling asphalt paving seal coating line striping and concrete projects. This role requires strong communication technical and client relationship skills to manage the sales process from initial inquiry to project completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare accurate and timely estimates bids and proposals for asphalt seal coating line striping and concrete projects.

Review project plans site conditions and specifications to determine scope materials labor and equipment needs.

Conduct site visits to evaluate job requirements and develop detailed cost analyses.

Maintain proactive communication with prospective and existing clients providing updates and addressing inquiries throughout the sales process.

Collaborate with operations project management and field teams to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Track and follow up on all active bids and leads to convert opportunities into awarded contracts.

Prepare and present project proposals to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.

Maintain accurate records of estimates contracts and client communications.

Stay up to date on industry trends materials pricing and competitors to enhance sales strategy.

Qualifications :

3 years of experience in estimating asphalt paving seal coating line striping or concrete work (required).

Strong understanding of construction materials methods and cost analysis.

Proven track record in sales or client relationship management within the construction industry.

Proficient in using estimating or takeoff software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
