Valex Corp is currently looking for an experienced Electronic Technician / Electrician who is capable of working independently while being a supportive team member to join the Facilities Team.

The Electronic Technician / Electrician derives his / her authority from the Facilities Manager / Supervisor and is directly accountable to him / her.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
• Repairing and modifying production equipment, facility equipment, engineering, and test equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks as per the preventive maintenance program.
• Identifying parts required for repairs, modifications, and design.
• Preparing paperwork required for ordering parts.
• Supporting Maintenance personnel in day-to-day operation.
• Familiar knowledge with Lockout / Tagout procedures . Ability to interpret NEC.
• Assisting in the development of new equipment.

DUTIES

With minimal supervision, guidance, direction, or instruction, the Electronic Technician / Electrician will perform the following duties within his / her areas of expertise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This is a full-time, non-exempt, bargaining (union) position and you will be expected to join our union upon hire (there is a nominal initiation fee and monthly dues). The hourly rate for this position is $36.93 / hr with a contract increase in March 2026.
