Full-time 0.6 FTE (24 hours), Tuesday to Friday
Hiring Wage : $49-53 / hr
Travel Required to : North Stockton
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Duties
- Travels to PPMM locations as required
- Responsible for assuring non-licensed staff are qualified in performing back office / lab skills and
achieve core competency levels on an annual basis
Provides input for the medical component of the non-licensed staff performance reviewsOversees patient triage for medical problems and acute versus routine appointments for bothreproductive health and primary care patients
Works with Center Manager or designee to facilitate flow and triageContributes to achieving health center productivity goalsDemonstrates PPMM customer service standardsIn Clinic Abortion Duties
Prepares recovery room for all in clinic abortion servicesPrepares pre-operative medicationsAssess post-operative patients for pain and bleeding control and early detection of complicationsOversees HSS functions : vital signs, post-operative instructions, education of patient identified birthcontrol method
Provides intraoperative sedation medication and patient monitoringProvides post-operative medicationsMaintains and ensures emergency cart and equipment are stocked and currentSexual and Reproductive Health Duties
Follows standardized procedures for the following patient visits : hormonal contraception, EmergencyContraception (EC), and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) screening
Provides patient education, counseling, lab work and ultrasound for medication abortionsProvide immunizations per approved guidelines and standardized procedures, such as HPVvaccination
Centralized Follow-Up RN
Accepts and signs-off GC / CT, pap and other designated lab reports from clinician’s PAQsEvaluates and develops plan for follow upRefers paps / other labs that are outside the scope of CFU RN to the health centers’ cliniciansVerifies that all lab reports are handled appropriately and within the appropriate time frameTriage RN- Response Center
Provides advice / triage services to both reproductive health and primary care patientsIdentifies medical urgency and schedules appointments with the health centersAnswers all calls placed in queue by Response Center as outlined in the Triage PolicyResponds to patient emails through the Patient Portal in EHRQUALIFICATIONS
