Responsibilities Include :
Implement, upgrade and support all IT Applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects and drive projects to completion in a complex environment.
Ability to work independently, prioritize projects and provide prompt and thorough follow-up
Participate and guide the design, development, testing, implementation and on-going maintenance of new and existing applications with a focus on MEDITECH and other ancillary systems.
Provides on-going support and maintenance of LIVE applications including direct user support (in person and / or over the phone) during posted support hours and during on-call hours.
Acts as the liaison with other IS groups or business departments for system and interfaces troubleshooting and support.
Perform MEDITECH user training and be available to assist as needed in system implementations
Education / Experience Requirements
Meditech or equivalent EHR implementation and support experience.
Prior experience supporting applications used in all clinical, revenue cycle and patient finance departments.
Minimum 3-year experience in Healthcare.
Bachelors or equivalent degree. IT education background is NOT required, but should have experience working in Healthcare IT as an Analyst or Super User from other departments.
Should be a self-starter and able to get things done with minimal guidance.
