Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Transaction Banking Technology organization. You will be the bridge between business stakeholders, product management, and technology teams, helping to define, design, and deliver solutions that enable our global transaction banking products and payment services. You will drive requirements gathering, process analyses, and ensure successful implementation of payments systems, digital channels, reconciliation, compliance, and other mission-critical capabilities.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, including engaging with stakeholders (business lines, operations, risk, compliance, security) to define and document business needs, workflows, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• Deeply understand transaction banking product functions : payments (domestic / cross-border), cash management, liquidity management, collections / disbursements, reconciliation, fraud prevention.
• Analyze existing business processes; identify inefficiencies or gaps; propose improvements.
• Collaborate with solution architects, system architects, and engineering teams to design scalable, robust, secure systems. Ensure that business requirements are translated into functional and non-functional specifications (security, scalability, SLAs, performance).
• Participate in vendor / product evaluations and implementations.
• Support regulatory / compliance requirements impacting payments and transaction banking (e.g. sanctions screening, KYC, AML, data privacy, PSD2 / Open Banking / ISO20022, OFAC, etc. as relevant).
• Ensure quality through reviewing test plans, participating in SIT / UAT, and validating that functionality meets business needs.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure alignment, manage priorities, scope, changes, and risks.
• Maintain detailed documentation : process flows, business rules, user journeys, data models, policies / controls.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $129K - $161K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and / or incentive compensation.
