We are seeking a Regional Clinical Specialist (could be Senior) who will deliver expert technical assistance, procedural coverage, and training to healthcare professionals and internal commercial teams during cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This field-based role requires direct engagement in clinical settings to ensure the successful utilization of advanced medical solutions and foster clinical adoption.
Required Qualifications of the Regional Clinical Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, healthcare discipline, or comparable field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, or clinical support roles within the cardiac medical device sector (EP background required)
- Flexibility to accommodate significant travel demands, including frequent overnight stays and limited advance notice (approximately 80-90%)
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Proven performance in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environments
Key Responsibilities of the Regional Clinical Specialist
- Deliver real-time technical and clinical assistance during cardiac electrophysiology cases, optimizing system performance and resolving technical challenges
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to clinicians and support staff, providing guidance on workflow integration and application techniques
- Facilitate comprehensive training programs for healthcare facilities during onboarding and ongoing education initiatives
- Collaborate with commercial team members to explore growth opportunities and support product assessment activities
- Maintain current expertise in interventional cardiology, cardiac ablation technologies, mapping systems, and related therapeutic procedures
- Collect and communicate field insights and procedural feedback to cross-functional teams to enhance offerings and client experience
- Execute an intensive field travel schedule providing coverage across assigned geographic regions
- Perform additional responsibilities as business needs dictate
