As a Security Guard - School Bike Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will provide peace of mind to the campus community, while you deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $17.30 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entry points as directed.
  • Assist with crowd management and help to promote order during events or peak times at the location.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
