Electric, you arent just applying for a job, you are building a career. / ph3What Youll Do / h3pWork with the project team to oversee construction activity to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule / ppInterface with owner / client, and on-site construction crews as required to ensure project safety, quality, project schedule and other milestones are met / ppPrepare electrical utility construction proposals and estimates, including drawing take-offs / ppExpected to forecast and report on project profitability while managing project budget / ppCoordinate all aspects of job set up to incorporate MJE standards regarding safety, scheduling, document control plan, cost codes, job cost spread, material / tooling plan, billing, etc / ppWork with the project team to plan and evaluate performance adjustments needed to stay within budget and on schedule for project completion / ppInterface with client / owner representative, IBEW union members and subcontractors / ppContinuously exercise leadership capabilities in managing field employees and utility construction work while following company and contract requirements / ppProvide correspondence and present project expectations and status to field employees and clients in a group setting / ppQuote change orders from drawing changes, RFIs and customer requests and process accordingly / ppWork with field leadership to ensure the project has adequate resources to maintain schedule, budget and exceed safety expectations / ppRegional travel is required / ph3What Youll Bring / h3pAbility to work independently and meet deadlines / ppAbility to anticipate and meet internal customer needs / ppProven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills / ppProven leadership capabilities in a management role / ppAbility to present to groups of 20-40 individuals / ppKnowledge of utility construction practices / ppExperience managing project financials / ppExtensive computer skills including familiarity with Access, Excel, and Outlook / ppStrong managerial / leadership skills / ppAbility to provide oversight to numerous projects throughout a large geographic area / pp4-7 years of Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related experience in the utility construction industry / ppBS / BA in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred / ppExperience with union jurisdiction and labor agreements / ppElectrical utility construction (distribution, substation, transmission line) expertise is preferred / ph3What Youll Get / h3p401(k) with company match (Traditional Roth) / ppPaid Holidays and PTO / ppMedical, Dental, and Vision / ppFlexible Spending Accounts / ppHealth Savings Account / ppAccident Insurance / ppHospital Indemnity Insurance / ppCritical Illness Insurance / ppLifelock Identity Theft Protection / ppEmployee Discounts / ppShort-Term Long-Term Disability / ppFor more benefit details click here! / p / div
