DHS is looking for a database expert who will work within the Enterprise Data Warehouse to create and maintain ETL packages needed to support managed care and other Medicaid programs.

The Bureau of Medical Systems & Enterprise Data Warehouse is seeking a motivated candidate to fulfill the Responsibilities of supporting managed care and other Medicaid programs by developing and maintaining ETL packages which are needed for agency reporting.

• Experience with mainframe VSAM files are necessary to transform existing legacy files to the Data Warehouse.

• This candidate also shares the responsibility for supporting the Medicaid Eligibility system’s Oracle backend interfaces and reporting.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members is mandatory.

Responsibilities of DBA5 role include but are not limited to:

• Working with SQL Server 2012+

• Working with Oracle (version 11.x or higher)

• Working with SQL Server Integration Services

• Working with Mainframe VSAM files

• Working on an Agile team

Required Skills:

• Experience working with SQL Server 2012 +

• Oracle 11.x Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views

• Experience working with CTE (Common Table Expressions)

• Experience working with SQL Server Integration Services

• Experience working with Mainframe VSAM files

• Experience working on an Agile team
