3rd Shift - Rotating Schedule : Sunday - Saturday - 11 : 00PM - 7 : 30AM, with 2 Days off a Week
$1.50 / hr. Shift Differential (2nd & 3rd Shift)
External Candidate ~$1,500.00 sign-on bonus
Demonstrate proficiency in maintenance and mechanical activities to ensure equipment operates safely, effectively, and efficiently. Perform general, preventive, and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, modification, fabrication, welding, and overhauls of mechanical and electrical systems. Work with limited supervision, receiving guidance on complex or new assignments, and serve as a technical resource for less experienced employees.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance and repairs on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment in accordance with all safety procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Read and interpret technical procedures, schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Support installation and startup of new equipment
- Assist operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Complete and document work orders accurately, timely, and in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely
- Communicate with operations, maintenance, and management regarding equipment issues affecting production
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, GMPs, food safety, quality, sanitation, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement efforts and stay current with new equipment and technologies
- Anticipate parts needs, follow purchasing procedures, and obtain materials as required

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent requiredTrade or technical school training preferred (electrical, PLC / HMI, mechanical, welding / fabrication, refrigeration, plumbing, etc.)2-4 years of maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC, HVAC), preferably in manufacturingExperience with industrial equipment including material handling, motor / relay / process controls, lubrication, cleaning, and packaging systemsAmmonia refrigeration experience preferredMulti-Craft mechanical experience preferredRequired certifications and / or licenses must be obtained as a condition of employmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
