Job specification

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, conducting assessments, administering medications, and performing necessary interventions.
• Deliver critical patient care with empathy and efficiency, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, making swift, informed decisions during high-stress situations.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care and treatment plans, adhering to hospital policies and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to foster a supportive and informative environment.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with equivalent experience will be considered.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.
