Main purpose of the job

The primary role of the Pricing Manager is to develop, manage and evaluate the effectiveness of the company's pricing strategies and tactics. The individual is responsible for forecasting the volume and profit impact of these pricing strategies and to provide pricing recommendations that will maintain and / or grow volume trends while continually seeking increased company margin and profitability. The position is to manage the rebate process with vendors focusing on timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Accountabilities :

Leadership and Pricing Strategy

• Develop strategic action plan to construct and implement industry-leading pricing and revenue management system. Participate as a member of the Pricing / Purchasing management team in establishing the strategic direction for the company as it relates to pricing.
• Provide clear and specific expectations to direct reports; set mutually agreed goals annually for each team member through an interactive process and align with the pricing strategy.
• Provide analysis and support to sales management in modeling revenue and margin opportunities or assessing the profitability of specific customer accounts.
