We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and will be committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities and challenges, focusing on literacy education, childhood development, and curriculum development.

• Must have K-12 Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Provide direct instruction in literacy education and other core subjects.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Support students with developmental disabilities by creating a nurturing classroom environment.
• Facilitate communication between students, parents, and educational professionals regarding student progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.
• Experience
• A degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is essential.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
