Title : Scheduling / Purchasing Coordinator

Location : Tampa, FL (On-Site)

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain construction project schedules, ensuring milestones are tracked and deadlines are met
  • Support project managers with short-term and long-term planning using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, or similar)
  • Track material orders and deliveries to align with construction timelines
  • Source, order, and manage inventory of building materials and supplies
  • Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to confirm availability, delivery dates, and pricing
  • Review purchase orders and verify accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project budgets
  • Maintain organized records of all procurement and scheduling activities
  • Assist in job costing, vendor negotiations, and updating project timelines as needed
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and progress across all projects

    • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction scheduling, purchasing, or coordination roles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and scheduling / project management tools
  • Familiarity with residential and / or commercial construction processes
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Experience working with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers
  • Ability to read construction schedules and plans is a plus
