A highly regarded Salt Lake City law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex civil disputes and will be comfortable managing cases from initial investigation through trial or resolution. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Utah Bar in good standing (or eligibility for admission)
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with commercial or complex litigation matters
• Strong knowledge of Utah civil procedure and court rules
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines
• Trial preparation or courtroom experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, business torts, contract claims, and other complex cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related legal documents
• Conduct and defend depositions and manage discovery
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
• Develop case strategy in collaboration with clients and colleagues
• Provide legal advice and updates to clients regarding case progress
• Contribute to the firm's collaborative, team-oriented environment
