Job Description :
- Consult on sizing requirements for new instrument PC
- Review guidelines from instrument manufacturer
- Collaborate with Asset Team on selecting matching equipment from OEM
- Collaborate with Asset Team on placing order for PC equipment
- New Instrument Installation
- Physical connection to network
- Allocation of IP Address per VLAN 42 rules DHCP reservation
- Setting up instrument data folder on GTPCCOMMON
- Mapping drive to instrument data folder
- Setting up appropriate backup eg Cobian
- Retrieval of phased out equipment and placement into storage for redistril
