OVERVIEW
A driven, high-performing Property Manager is needed to lead operations for a newly built independent senior living community in Plano, TX undergoing significant transition and repositioning. This role requires a true “mini CEO”, someone who can take ownership of the property, elevate performance, rebuild an on-site team, stabilize occupancy, and guide the community through a full market-rate lease-up.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as the operational leader and primary decision-maker for the community.
- Manage and mentor a 6-person onsite team:
- Assistant Property Manager
- Leasing Specialist
- Activities Coordinator
- Maintenance Technicians (x2)
- Grounds Keeper
- Drive occupancy and lead an aggressive lease-up strategy.
- Oversee resident satisfaction, retention, and community engagement.
- Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, housing regulations, and local requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership on repositioning and the shift to full market-rate operations.
- Oversee vendor relationships and service delivery.
- Maintain operational excellence, safety, and property performance.
WHAT IT TAKES
- 3–5+ years of relevant property management experience (multifamily or senior living preferred).
- Proven success managing lease-ups, turnaround environments, or new market launches.
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong budgeting, financial, and operational management skills.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced or complex business environments.

COMPENSATION
- $80,000 – $90,000 base salary
