Senior Medical Biller - Dermatology

Full-Time or Part-Time | Northville, MI | Virtual Option Available

MI Skin Center is a growing, full-service medical dermatology practice in Northville, MI. We are seeking another experienced, aggressive full-cycle medical biller with dermatology experience who can independently manage and drive our revenue cycle from start to finish.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership , follows claims relentlessly to resolution, and is comfortable being firm, persistent, and professional when it comes to collections. You will play a critical role in the financial health of the practice and will be trusted to identify issues, propose solutions, and help improve systems as we continue to grow.

We are looking for a long-term team member who is dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own the entire revenue cycle , including claim submission, follow-up, denial management, appeals, and collections.
• Submit and track claims for clinical services, procedures, and medications.
• Aggressively and consistently follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims with insurance companies.
• Manage patient balances and collections with professionalism and persistence.
• Identify, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims promptly.
• Handle billing for systemic biologic medications, specialty pharmacy workflows, and prior authorizations.
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately; process refunds as needed.
• Respond to billing inquiries clearly and professionally.
• Track accounts receivable and prioritize high-impact follow-up.
• Identify denial trends and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with payer guidelines, office policies, and HIPAA regulations.
• Look for ongoing opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reimbursement rates.
