JOB SUMMARY a s a Workflow Developer you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create legal documents templates based on examples provided by process owners.
- Modify existing templates according to instructions from process owners.
- Plan and draft scripting code that will create required variations in the generated documents.
- Plan and draft scripting code for database modification commands.
- Test documents to insure they are generated in compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements and user needs.
- Troubleshoot and correct script problems.
- Review scripting code to answer questions regarding the functionality of documents or database commands.
- Track multiple ongoing projects, communicate expectations related to timeline of deliverables.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation regarding the project, related processes / subprocesses and process owner provided instructions.
- Utilize Jira to track and document projects / development requests.
- Actively listen and effectively communicate with all levels of management and attorneys.
- Consult and / or complete requests related to front-end programming of Firm websites.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Basic level of programming / scripting experience and education is required. Experience may be substituted for education.Experience with database and workflow programming and / or mail merge.Automated Data Processing.SQL.SDLC.Vertican – Collection Master (CLS) experience is an added value.Experience with WordPerfect merge is preferred but not required.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.Attention to detail and ability to create professional-looking documents.Time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Basic knowledge of the legal process and legal documents.Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.COMPETENCIES
