Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,960 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title : RN Profession : Nursing Specialty : ICU Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : RN License Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Experience with EMR. Ability to independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors. Description : Seeking an RN for the ICU. The shift is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM. The unit has 14 beds. There are 8 RNs per shift. The patient ratios are 2 : 1 or 1 : 1. Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and an electronic medical record system. Typical procedures performed in the unit include intubation, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion. Preferred experience includes 1 year recovering from open heart surgeries 12 hours post-operation. Floating may occur to other departments if overstaffed. Scrub color / dress code is navy blue. Weekends and on-call are not specified.
