Avenue Z, a leading media and tech company, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our growing Public Relations team. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to work with experienced professionals on innovative campaigns for a diverse range of clients. As a Junior Associate, you'll gain hands‑on experience in communications strategy and execution, learning the foundations of public relations while contributing to meaningful client work.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement Support :

Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies for clients across media, technology, and other industries.

Support account teams in managing client relationships, including preparing meeting notes and follow‑ups.

Content Creation and Media Support :

Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, and other written materials.

Assist in the development of compelling story angles and client narratives.

Conduct research to support client campaigns, including audience insights and competitor analyses.

Media Relations and Monitoring :

Build foundational skills in media relations, including compiling media lists and identifying press opportunities.

Monitor media coverage and industry trends, preparing summary reports for internal teams and clients.

Project Coordination :

Support day‑to‑day coordination of PR campaigns, ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Collaborate with team members to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and address project needs.

Team Collaboration and Learning :

Work closely with senior team members to gain exposure to various aspects of PR and strategic communications.

Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, internal trainings, and team meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

0-2 years of relevant experience, with a preference for internship or agency experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Interest in media and technology industries is a plus.

Competitive salary range : $60,000 to $65,000 USD.
