A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. People First in London, Kentucky Local Team Collaboration : We are seeking hospitalists and nocturnists to join our close-knit team of ten physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph London. Completion of training, board certification, and unrestricted APRN license to be granted before the start of employment. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling : Hospitalist and Nocturnist opportunities available We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts to accommodate personal commitments. Key Responsibilities : Manage various cases in a 150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage. Collaborate closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing and medical executive committees, to improve communication and patient care. Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, APPs, and residents from Lincoln Memorial University, fostering a culture of learning. Engage in weekly group huddles to discuss challenges, share updates, and ensure seamless collaboration across the team. Work within a structured program divided into two daytime groups, with support from a dedicated nocturnist for night coverage. Rewards and Benefits : Compensation : Competitive salary with additional bonuses based on performance. We are offering a commencement bonus of $50,000 for the Day Hospitalist.
