This role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and support of a mission -critical enterprise application used for large -scale data collection, case management, and regulatory reporting. The system supports complex workflows and data exchanges that are essential for timely operational response, regulatory compliance, and accurate reporting.<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

The application has recently undergone the first phase of a multi -stage modernization effort aimed at improving system stability, scalability, and functionality. This resource will play a key role in sustaining and advancing the modernized platform by ensuring automated processes are functioning correctly, streamlining core business workflows, maintaining data integrity, meeting security and compliance standards, and safeguarding system availability.<\/span>

In addition to hands -on development responsibilities, this role serves as a technical lead, providing guidance and oversight to other developers supporting this and other critical enterprise applications. The individual will contribute to system design decisions, mentor team members, and participate in complex analytical and implementation initiatives related to application enhancement, integration, and long -term sustainability.<\/span>

Position Summary<\/span>

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high -performance cloud -based solutions.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes supporting large datasets.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and/or Scala.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Design and implement solutions leveraging cloud services and distributed computing platforms.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Implement and manage search and analytics engines for efficient data retrieval and analysis.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Support integrations with external systems and standardized data exchange formats.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across applications.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Design logical and physical database models and develop associated database objects.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders for review and approval.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Contribute to agile development teams, participating in planning, reviews, and continuous improvement activities.<\/span>

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  
  <\/p>

  • 12+ years of experience developing complex, enterprise -scale database systems.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 8+ years of experience with distributed data platforms (e.g., Databricks).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 8+ years of experience with search and analytics technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Kibana).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 8+ years of experience developing in Python and/or Scala.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 8+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and cloud -based application development.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 5+ years of experience with data warehousing, data visualization, and data quality practices.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 5+ years of experience following structured development methodologies (e.g., CMM/CMMI Level 3).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • 5+ years of experience working in agile development environments, including test -driven development.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>
