CNC Machine Operator I

Job Description

SUMMARY

This role involves operating and monitoring plastic CNC machines to ensure the machined parts meet dimensional, quality, and customer specifications. It also requires performing other production processes such as assembly, soldering, and bonding.

Shift : 1st Schedule : Monday-Friday

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain high-quality standards through precise measurements and adjustments to manufacturing processes.
• Must be willing to learn multiple CNC machines and inspection stations.
• Responsible for keeping the workstation clean and organized.
• Operates CNC machines under established procedures and guidelines.
• Completes simple deburring, assembly, and other production tasks.
• May perform a visual inspection.
• Meet standard production output requirements.
• Maintain and promote a safe working environment by following safety rules, policies, and 5S standards.
• Track and effectively communicate job progress.
• Implement continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
• Other duties as required in support of the department and the company

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds may be required. SALARY INFORMATION

In compliance with CA state law, the hourly range for this position is $18-19 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
