Salary: $75,000 to $114,000/Year DOE

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or LMFT-I) and (CPC or CPC-I ). The ideal candidate for this position has strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to the welfare and improvement of patients in the home health setting. This is a challenging but rewarding job opportunity for an individual who is able to offer compassion, support, and services to patients with mental health concerns.

Must pass a full FBI/Adam Walsh/ and CANS background check through the Department of Family Services. Background check costs are not reimbursed.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the role of the mental health therapist in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings.
• Comprehend the principles and techniques of a range of approaches to therapy.
• Understand the role of ethics and boundaries.
• Demonstrate an understanding of a range of theoretical concepts and techniques.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records for patients.
• Understand the role of the mental health therapist in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Advocate for the rights of clients.
• Demonstrate an understanding of how factors such as social class, religion, culture, and gender can affect an individuals life.
