Job Description Impact Recruitment is looking for a talented, motivated, and driven Aircraft Maintenance Crew Leads for a stable and well respected client with locations in Southern California. This position will focus on a variety of corporate jet aircraft; including, but not limited to: Dassault (Falcon), Gulfstream, Bombardier (Global/Challenger), Hawker, and Cessna (Citation).

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises a crew of technicians (5 - 12 crew members) in the performance of aircraft maintenance. Evaluates, recommends salary and promotions, rewards, recognizes and disciplines members of the crew. Assures that technicians are held accountable for the quality of their maintenance work, and that they perform their duties in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturers' recommendations, the company repair station manual, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assigns work to crew members based upon customer expectations for return to service date and the technical expertise of the various employees.
- Provides technical guidance to technicians to aid in performance of aircraft maintenance, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and modifications. Must be up-to-date on scope of required maintenance for customers and coordinate efforts to ensure an on time delivery.
- With the facility general manager, pre-plans work scopes on aircraft, including deploying manpower, pre-ordering parts, opening the work order and customer debriefing. Writes all additional items and squawks communicated by customer or identified during inspection.
- Monitors hours charged to a job to assure that manpower is optimized and efficiency is maintained to meet or exceed customers expectations. Reviews employee time cards on a daily basis to verify accuracy of time charged to work orders as well as performance relative to quoted hours.
- Informs facility general manager of problems and work status so that communications with the customers are timely and complete.
- Reviews work orders for completion and invoice for accuracy prior to submission to the general manager. Ensures work orders are in accordance with our repair station manual, including RTS functions. Ensures completion of a final "walk around" to confirm aircraft cleanliness and readiness for departure.
- Assures that crew members are well-trained on assigned aircraft, that they are scheduled for periodic technical training in-house or at designated off-site locations. Works cooperatively with other TAC personnel to assure cross-training on other aircraft models.
- Supports and adheres to safety, environmental and general housekeeping policies. Is proactive in the area of safety; promotes safe work habits to the crew, monitors the work environment for safety hazards and takes steps to address/remove hazards. Ensures the proper use and maintenance of company facilities and equipment ensuring accuracy and safety.
Education and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 10 years recent experience working on corporate aircraft models typical to the company.
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a supervisory role.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license issued by the FAA.
- Valid California Driver's License.
