Lansing, MI (North side of Lansing)

It’s a smaller company that is growing and becoming more tech-centric with each project. Currently they have 2 locations in MI and a customer service / data center in Las Vegas, NV which is 100% supported by the team in MI. They have about 10-12 applications that they host and provide the infrastructure and application support for. Most of the legacy environment is JAVA based apps including API’s into the modern cloud platform c#.NET with the goal of transitioning away from JAVA entirely. Quest is a desktop server environment moving to the cloud targeting the Microsoft stack with AZURE. They have a hybrid environment for the time being with some things in the cloud and some on-prem.

• All new development is in C#.NET
• Angular Front-End
• SQL Server Back-end
• First 6 months will be 100% focusing on building new features and functions within the current applications
• Need a person who can take projects through to completion - a person with the “it factor”
• Be able to establish new processes and procedures, build best practices, modernize whats in place
• Insurance exp is a plus, not a requirement
• AGILE team, Kanban NOT SCRUM
• Daily standup / huddles using Kanban board - team is very visual
• Building out Configuration management to move things to production - formality is big
