We are seeking exceptional PhD students to join Eyeline Labs as Research Interns for the Summer 2026 internship program.

As a Research Intern, you will work on groundbreaking research projects using video / image generative AI and 4D neural reconstruction / representation techniques to revolutionize the field of filmmaking, content (re)creation, and visual effects / enhancements (stylization, relighting, super-resolution, bit depth, etc).

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in quick iterations of hands-on research in the field of video / image generative AI and 4D neural reconstruction / representation
• Balance between research and engineering, and develop state-of-the-art techniques to address high-priority challenges in the field of filmmaking, content (re)creation, and visual effects / enhancements (stylization, relighting, super-resolution, bit depth, etc)
• Align closely with filmmakers and artists to prototype AI tools for their final pixel quality, production scaling, efficiency, and creativity
• Conduct experiments to validate research hypotheses and incubate new ideas into publications

Qualifications

$45 - $65 an hour

This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Los Angeles, CA. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
