We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a  Junior Accountant opportunity with a national mortgage company. The Junior Accountant to support the accounting team with data entry, daily deposits, and account reconciliations.  This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in mortgage accounting, financial controls, and month-end processes within a fast-paced financial services environment.

The Junior Accountant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Accounting & Data Entry

• Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system
• Maintain organized and complete accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist with processing invoices, journal entries, and routine accounting tasks
• Enter and reconcile investor purchase advice in LOS system
• Enter S215 P+I transactions into LOS system

Deposits & Cash Processing

Reconciliations

Preferred

Pay Rate Range : 45,000 - 52,000 for salaried positions

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
