What Your Day Will Entail

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Identifying and treating acute, episodic, or chronic diseases in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Empowering patients and families through education on prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Necessary Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
