Plumbing Designer

Plumbing Designer Opportunity | Fort Myers, FL

Client is seeking a Plumbing Designer for its Fort Myers, FL branch office. This role involves working on designs for commercial buildings, government facilities, and K-12 schools.

Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing design calculations and produce contract documents, including isometric riser diagrams for sanitary and domestic water systems.
• Conduct technical comparisons and other required technical tasks.
• Coordinate project assignments with engineers and technicians.
• Review drawings from vendors, clients, engineers, and architects; recommend necessary changes.
• Research code issues and collaborate with City, State, and County officials.
• Explore design options and document findings for engineers.

Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• 3-5 years of experience in plumbing design is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
