Description : Responsibilities :

• Housekeeping :
• Execute daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other designated facility spaces.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors for thorough cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste from designated containers.
• Maintain the cleanliness of windows and mirrors throughout the facility.
• Replenish supplies in allocated areas as needed.
• Laundry :
• Collect soiled linens, clothing, and personal items from resident rooms and common areas.
• Categorize and segregate items based on fabric type, color, and washing instructions.
• Operate washing machines and dryers for effective cleaning and sanitization.
• Fold, organize, and distribute clean laundry to designated areas.
• Manage inventory of linen supplies and make replenishment orders as required.
• Strictly adhere to infection control procedures during laundry processes.
• General :
• Adhere rigorously to established safety protocols and guidelines while executing duties.
• Cultivate a positive and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
• Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant department.
• Actively participate in training programs related to infection control, safety, and job-specific skills.
• Collaborate in maintaining a welcoming and homely atmosphere for residents.
• Qualifications :
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry, particularly in healthcare or long-term care settings, is preferred.
• Proficiency in proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and laundry processes.
• Competence in operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy items such as linen and cleaning supplies.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety procedures.
