A company is looking for a Network Engineer (Telecom Domain).
Key Responsibilities
Prep, test, groom, and provision the customer’s network for traffic migration off decommissioned network elements
Collaborate with onsite technicians to verify pathways for traffic migration and perform maintenance, activation, and implementation activities
Partner with internal teams for guidance, provide updates and escalations to the program leader, and manage scheduling tasks
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in telecom network provisioning and grooming
Strong background with network turn downs, traffic migration, activations, and maintenance
Experience with SONET technologies and TDM-Copper systems
Familiarity with network equipment such as Ciena, Fujitsu, Nortel, and DXCs
Able to work any shift in a 24X7 rotation
