Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health

Pay Range : $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Coverage Area : Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Paula & Surrounding Areas

Job Type : Per Diem

Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with Buena Vista Home Health , you will provide in-home speech therapy services to help patients improve communication and swallowing function. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and compassionate, with a passion for working with the geriatric community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide therapy ordered by the physician
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and families
  • Prepare clinical notes and maintain accurate documentation
  • Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
  • Recommend communication devices and aids as needed
  • Participate in case conferences and maintain clinical competency

    • Requirements

  • Active California SLP License
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CPR certification
  • Licensed driver with insured, reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
