General Labor Position

General Labor in Donna, TX

Pay : $9.50 / hr

Schedule : 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm Monday Fridays; Saturdays as needed

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Knowledgeable and safe operation of assigned work area
• Package materials in designated form such as bales, super sacks, boxes, pallets, etc. according to instructions or processing guidelines
• Manually unload materials from customer vehicles
• Perform routine pre & post inspections of work area as per instructions; reporting any unsatisfactory conditions to floor supervisor
• Safely operate all assigned machines according to instructions
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Report any damage to company property of any kind including racking, trailers, equipment
• Attend to all customers according to WSR procedures
• Greet peddler customers in a courteous and timely manner
• Accurate, complete, legible, and timely completion of paperwork, tally sheets, production tickets, and / or reports
• Complete daily production sheets accurately, completely, and neatly
• Sort material properly for shipment preparation
• Sweep and maintain a clean general facility work area inside and outside
• Greeting and assisting customers arriving on site to sell material in a timely and courteous manner
• Performing other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or department manager
