Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves two full-time speech-language pathology (SLP) assignments in an elementary school setting, located in Terryville, CT, offering valuable experience working with PreK through 5th-grade students.

Position Details : 1st Opening :

  • Contract duration : January 9 to April 2
  • Grade Levels : PreK through 2nd grade
  • Full-time, onsite role
  • Potential candidate being considered, but position remains open

2nd Opening :

  • Contract duration : February 9 to March 23
  • Grade Levels : Split between 3rd to 5th grade building and the middle school
  • Full-time, onsite role

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to eligible students
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs targeting speech and language development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document and monitor student performance and progress according to school guidelines

    • Qualifications :

  • Valid ASHA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during the contract period
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
