EPATT Tutor (Virtual, K-12) - Part-Time

Location : Must be located in California (or able to complete fingerprinting in CA)

Pay : $22 / session

Hours : Minimum 2 sessions / week (minimum 3 hours / week including prep and professional development)

Term : Ongoing (Fall : Sept-Dec, Spring : Jan-May, Summer : June-July)

Mode : Primarily remote; in-person optional for local candidates

East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) is a nonprofit serving K–12 students since 1988 through academic tutoring, tennis, and enrichment activities. Our mission is to help students become college and career-ready.

Position Summary

Do you want to equip youth for college and career readiness?! Then EPATT tutoring wants you! EPATT Tutors provide 1 : 1 academic support to students in grades K–12 using EPATT’s curriculum. Subjects include Reading, Math, Science, or SAT Prep.

What We’re Looking For

• Located in California and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong understanding of K-12 math, reading, and writing
• College students or graduates preferred (high school seniors with a 3.5+ GPA may apply)
• Organized, responsible, and energetic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with youth from under-resourced communities is a plus
