Description - Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-in accordance with established protocols.
• Assess test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative measures and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
• Engage in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training to newcomers or interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace while abiding by regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of hiring.
• Keep certification active throughout employment.
