Description : This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role requires candidates to work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM. The position lasts for 13 weeks. There are no call requirements associated with this role. The unit has 34 beds with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 5 patients. The typical nursing staff includes a charge nurse and multiple registered nurses and patient care technicians. Necessary equipment includes GE telemetry monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and feeding pumps. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should be skilled in cardiac assessments, administering cardiac drips and medications, and conducting acute stroke assessments.
