We are seeking a customer-focused and driven Counter Sales Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers find the right products for their needs. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and always looking to expand their product knowledge and customer relationships!

A Day in the Life :

As a Counter Sales Associate , you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them in selecting, applying, and purchasing a wide range of fasteners, industrial hardware, tools, and maintenance and shop supplies . You will serve a variety of industries, including transportation, heavy equipment, maintenance and repair departments, sand / gravel pits, and machine shops . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist walk-in and telephone customers with product inquiries, special requests, and pricing.
• Identify customer needs, clarify product specifications, and locate or retrieve products.
• Finalize transactions and assist with product shipments when necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Promote company products and services to drive additional sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional storefront.
• Represent TSP as a pillar of the Tacoma Screw way!
