Overview
The Senior Property Title Analyst will be responsible for performing tasks relative to Commercial real property collateral. The Senior Property Title Analyst will further work with lending staff, credit administration, credit supervision, compliance, and legal department to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures in relation to the commercial real property collateral in support of Loan Documentation, Loan Closing, and Collateral Monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough analysis of preliminary title reports, title commitments, surveys, appraisals and flood determinations.
- Recognize and discuss title issues with lending staff and credit supervisor to resolve any title issues with Commercial real estate collateral.
- Act as liaison between escrow, title, in-house legal counsel and all interested parties to prepare lender’s instructions and perfect commercial real estate collateral for Commercial Loans including but not limited to CRE and C&I Loans.
- Identify title endorsements and exceptions on preliminary title reports.
- Design / enhance Lender’s Instruction document to ensure proper Title Work
- Prepare lender’s instructions, SNDAs, tenant estoppels, and other documents as required to ensure Bank’s lien position on Commercial Real Estate under the laws of Multi-States.
- Perform quality control and approval of lender’s instructions prepared by other title analysts
- Provide instructions to Loan Administrator and Documentation Specialist to perfect the collateral
- Prepare and update policies and procedures for Title Perfection and its components
- May perfect all real estate collateral.
- May prepare loan documents on LaserPro in accordance with Bank Policy and according to the terms of the approved credit.
- Create Management report as assigned
- Participate in the CCR and ILM system testing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance RequiredSpecial education in Title Work / Title Law required5+ Years of title / related commercial real estate experience requiredAdvance knowledge of all aspects of Commercial Real Estate Title LawExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood leadership skillsGood Analytical skillsAbility to work on multiple projects / loans simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframesThorough knowledge of Microsoft software, inclusive of Word and ExcelLoan system experience required with FIS loan system preferredDocument Imaging system experience requiredGood organizational, analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast paced environmentCompensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $75,000.00 / Yr. - USD $100,000.00 / Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
