Basic Duties and Responsibilities :

• Install, configure and support servers, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless network, backup systems, storage area networks, virtual servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other associated hardware and
• Manage Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy.
• Monitor and test network performance and troubleshoot any performance
• Research and recommend changes to the system architecture to accommodate technology upgrades, improve performance, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Assess and define short-term and long-term network capacity
• Maintain, test and update the data backup systems, archiving and the disaster recovery
• Assist in the development and implementation of network and system administration policies and
• Maintain an accurate IT asset
• Monitor, test, and document network hardware configurations, security settings, processes, policy compliance, backup procedures, and other network administrative activities as required by Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Interact and negotiate with vendors and contractors to procure network products and
• Provide support for land line phones and
• Provide end user support as part of a 24x7 help desk, including training and assisting staff in using hardware and software more efficiently.
• Install security patches on all servers
• Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager and / or Senior Director of Technology and Continuous Improvement.
