Excellent Clinical Practice Manager & Staff Primary Care Opportunities - Fairview, OR

The East Portland / Fairview, Oregon Veterans Administration Community Based Outpatient Clinic is seeking a full-time B oard-Certified / Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician for its out-patient clinic in Fairview, Oregon for our Primary Care Clinical Practice Manager & Staff Physician .  Being part of Portland VA Medical Center that provides services to an integrated network of care facilities, and a distributed system of outpatient clinics and hospitals located throughout Oregon. The primary care provider will function as a highly skilled, independent care provider in the management of patients, you’ll be part of an interdisciplinary care team with access to state-of-the-art medicine and some of the most advanced medical technologies available.

Candidates must be board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine and have demonstrated leadership and have administrative capabilities.  Must be strongly motivated in promoting appropriate staff education and development programs, and demonstrate a commitment to professional enrichment, merit promotion, equal employment opportunity and positive labor relations.

The Health Care Clinic operates under a PACT Model (Patient Aligned Care Team). Together with his or her team, comprised of a PCP, RN, LPN, and a Medical Support Assistant, the PCP cares for a panel of approximately 900 patients. The PACT provides comprehensive care for our Veteran population, including the diagnoses, care, and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Common diagnoses encountered include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain. Position is Monday thru Friday, no weekends, and no holidays.

Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, (minimal call for abnormal labs).
