We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Trauma Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and spans a 36-day contract, offering 5-10 shifts per month with day and night 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate is board certified in surgery, skilled in advanced trauma life support, and proficient in procedures such as tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placement.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform advanced trauma life support in an acute care settingConduct tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placements; arterial line placement preferredDeliver care to trauma surgery patients as part of a multidisciplinary teamMaintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner EMREnsure adherence to all required safety, quality, and compliance protocolsAdditional Information
