Position Title : Tax Accountant
Location : Bethesda, MD (Onsite, 5 days / week; flexible for life instances)

Compensation : $80,000 – $90,000 annually (potential flexibility based on current compensation)
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, days with 30-minute lunch (core hours 9 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM)

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Accountant to support both corporate and family office tax functions within a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong income tax experience who enjoys handling complex, multi-entity returns and working across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare annual federal, state, and local income tax returns and quarterly tax calculations for : Family office members, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and special purpose entities Corporate entities, including partnerships and Subchapter S corporations
- Maintain accounting records, bank and investment reconciliations, and supporting documentation for family office members
- Prepare personal financial statements, cash flow statements, budgets, and ad hoc financial reports
- Respond to tax notices and assist with audits and tax research projects
- Support daily operations within both the corporate and family tax departments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required2–4 years of experience in income tax preparation within public accounting, corporate tax, or family office settingsStrong knowledge of income tax principles across multiple entities and statesProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); familiarity with CCH Axcess a plusExcellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsStrong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCPA or progress toward CPA preferred but not requiredEEO Statement :
